From the Battlefields of Husaybah to Empowering Veterans and Their Families
In April 2004, during the intense and defining Battle of Husaybah, our founder, Charlie, faced unimaginable challenges. This battle resulted in profound personal loss, with Charlie losing five of his closest friends (during that tour) and our company commander. The emotional weight of this day has been a guiding force in his life and career.

Twenty years later, a reunion with fellow Marines and the families of the fallen offered not just a moment for remembrance but a new perspective on resilience and growth. This gathering sparked an idea—a vision to foster a supportive community that not only remembers the past but also builds a thriving future for those directly affected by the events of that day.
At The Wellness Effect™, we are committed to transforming our founder’s battlefield experiences into positive actions. We are dedicated to doing business with and subcontracting to companies owned by veterans and family members of those who served alongside our founder in Husaybah. By prioritizing partnerships with Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses and their families, we honor their sacrifice, resilience, and the hardworking spirit of those who have served our country.
